Why would a gang of Section XIII pilots simoutaneously start a convo with a solo pilot just to kill him? 
Or is this an actual use of game mechanics

Quite obvious that you would all smack.
Never mind, if that's how you play then fair enough... I've been ganked quite a few times, I only ever post when it's with lame tactics

Hang on... you people shock me! Why wouldn't darth let me in when I play fair, never leave the battlefield until dead! Come on chaps my issue still stands.
I've been ganked numerous times and it's never bothered me... until I get various convo's... you weren't there so please refrain from posting and making yourself look stupid.
It's quite easy to make it out in a Claw... wait 30 seconds (make sure you've set you AP to the gate you come from), hit approach, hit the MWD... hit the armour rep and DC II and hit the AP... 2 seconds max.
Quite hard though when you have a fair few convos.. or will the pilots use the same excuse as the pilot in the previous system which I didn't petition:

Funny that same thing in two different systems, VOL was 5 convos which have all been sent off, hence not posting them.
